Two more Judges of the District Courts, Chandigarh, have tested positive for Covid-19. According to information, Ravish Kaushik and Sachin Kumar, both Judicial Magistrate First Class, have contracted the virus. Their staff who came into contact with them recently have been asked to observe self-quarantine.

Earlier, Punita Bashamboo, Judicial Magistrate First Class, and an Additional District and Sessions Judge had tested positive for Covid.

The Punjab and the Haryana High Court as well as the subordinate courts in the states of Punjab, Haryana and the UT are working in a restrictive manner to prevent the spread of the virus since March.
