Two Nigerians arrested with Rs 2.5-cr heroin

Chandigarh, December 6

The UT police arrested two Nigerians involved in drug peddling and recovered heroin worth Rs 2.5 crore from them on Thursday.

Two teams of the Sector 39 police station, under the supervision of Inspector Amanjot Singh, were constituted to nab the suspects, identified as Obibulu (31) and Azuka (38).

Sub-Inspector Naveen Kumar was on patrolling duty near the Sector 38-A & B roundabout at 4:30 pm yesterday. When the police party reached near the office of the Directorate of Cultural Affairs, they saw a foreign national coming on foot
