The Cyber Crime Investigation Cell of the UT police has nabbed two swindlers for allegedly duping city residents on the pretext of providing them jobs.

Deepika and Chetna, both residents of Sector 23, told the police that they were looking for a job through Google during which they came across an advertisement on OLX mentioning that there were vacancies in the IndiGo airlines. The accused made the victims deposit about Rs60,000 in their accounts. However, the victims later found that they had been duped.

The suspects, identified as Abhishek, alias Rahul (24), and Anil Yadav (23), both residents of Delhi, were arrested on June 22, the police said. Two laptops containing fake joining letters of the Indigo airlines, resumes of several persons and mobile phones have been recovered from their possession.

They were produced before the court today that sent them to two-day police remand.
