Two youths have died allegedly due to drug overdose in Banur in the past 48 hours. A youth was found dead in the Nangal Salempur area of Banur yesterday, while the body of the other youth was found in Ward No. 1, evoking concerns among local residents.

A number of residents gathered at the Mata Mandir Dharamshala to deliberate on the drugs menace. Sandeep Singh was the only son in the family and had one daughter. His family members complained that he died of drug overdose.
