Universal Group of Institutions ties up with Google

Chandigarh, March 24

Lalru-based Universal Group of Institutions (UGI) has tied up with the Internet advertising and search giant, Google, for online education and innovation programmes.

The services will help in creating virtual classrooms, automated assignment creation process and also in accessing score for assignment. Teachers will share lectures, notes and give assignments to students through an online system. Students can also submit their assignments back on the system.

“With the help of the Google Classroom, we will create classes, distribute assignments, send feedback and see everything in one place. With the facility, teachers and students get instant and effective results with easy and paperless teaching,” said Gurpreet Singh, Chairman, UGI. — TNS
