The Chandigarh Administration has decided to discontinue the weekend closure of Sukhna Lake.

The lake was closed for people on Saturday and Sunday due to sudden rise in coronavirus cases in the city.

The order was issued by Adviser to UT Administrator Manoj Parida. The police authorities will, however, strictly enforce wearing of masks and social distancing among visitors.
