UT to host U-14 basketball meet from December 8

The Chandigarh Sports Department will organise a basketball tournament for both boys and girls (Under-14) from December 8 to 12 at the Sector 42 Sports Complex.

The last date for submitting entries is December 5.

The entry proforma will be available on the department’s official website sportsdeptt.chd.gov.in as well as at the Basketball Halls located at Sports Complex, Sector 7, Sector 42 Sports Complex and Sector 46 Sports Complex. Entries will be accepted only in physical form at the designated coaching centres after verification of the credentials of interested participants.

Players must be enrolled in schools situated in Chandigarh, and submit birth certificate issued by the registrar of births of the respective state, Aadhaar card and bona fide certificate issued by the school concerned.

Players born on or after January 1, 2012, will be eligible for participation.
