Vansh Sharma from Ryan International School played his first International Tennis Federation (ITF) Tournament held recently in Thailand. The 15-year-old played his first ITF tournament in the Under-18 years age group. He is ranked 150th in U-16 and 350th in the U-18 age category.

“It was a rich experience. Though I lost against a Thailand player, I got to learn many things. In upcoming championships, I will try to not repeat my mistakes,” said Sharma. He is playing next ITF tournament in Jakarta (Indonesia) next month.

Vansh is training under coach Bhupinder Singh (Prince), who is working as senior tennis coach in Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26. “He is a great kid and emerging player of the nation. In the upcoming championships, he will have a good platform to showcase his talent,” said Bhupinder.
