"The Milkfed Board rejected these rules and sent the file to the Registrar Cooperative Societies Punjab for approval, but for the past year, this file has been gathering dust in the office of the Registrar Cooperative Societies Punjab.

Last week, Harpal Singh Cheema, Finance Minister of Punjab, also made an announcement, but this announcement seems to be futile," said the protesters. The workers said their strike would continue until they receive their regular salaries and that they would soon begin a hunger strike.
