City shooter Vidushi Rawat won two silver medals and a bronze medal at the India Open Shooting Championship held in Goa recently. The championship was organised by the National Rifle Association.

Vidushi bagged two silver medals in the 50m prone rifle category (in both senior and junior divisions) and a bronze medal in the 50m 3-position event. Over 2,000 shooters from across the country participated in this championship.

Vidushi had previously won four gold medals in the prone and 50m 3-position categories at the Chandigarh State Shooting Championship. Earlier this year, Vidushi also won two gold medals at the GV Mavlankar Shooting Championship held in Mhow. Presently, she is training under coach Vikas Prasad.
