On the concluding day of Roots AITA CS (7) National Ranking Tournament, Vivaan Bidasaria of Madhya Pradesh overpowered tough challenger Kshitij Sinha of Uttar Pradesh to win the boys’ U-16 title.

Bidasaria won the first set without conceding a single game. However, Sinha bounced back by logging a 4-6 win over to level the scores. Bidasaria, once again, played well and commended the third set to log a 6-1 victory over his second seed rival. In the boys’ U-18 final, Bidasaria was once again up against Sinha and claimed the tile by recording a 6-3 6-2 win.

In the boys’U-18 doubles final, the pair of Lakshya Dhiman and Sinha recorded a comeback 2-6 7-5 11-9 win over Bidasaria and Avi Agarwal to win the title. Haryana’s Jasmine Kaur won the girls’ U-16 final by defeating Mansi Singh 6-3 6-3. In the U-18 final, Jasmine easily overpowered Nanci Singh 6-2 6-2 to claim a twin title.
