Vivek School log cricket win
Chandigarh, April 18
Vivek High School defeated TKB School, Kharar, by 62 runs in the ongoing St Joseph’s Champions Cricket League. Batting first, Vivek lads posted 214 runs before getting all-out in 28.5 overs.
Divyam (71), Tarun Singh (33), Reyansh (31), Japsidak (28) and Shreyan Kohli (20) were the main scorers. Eshaan claimed four wickets while Jashan and Shaurya Badak claimed two wickets each. In reply, the Kharar school scored 152 runs in 19.4 overs. Tarun Singh (4/55) was the pick of the bowlers. In the second match, the hosts St Joseph’s school defeated Royal Cricket Academy by three wickets. Bating first, Royal Cricket lads scored 179/4 in the allotted 30 overs. In reply, the hosts posted 180/7 in 29.4 overs with the help of Adhiraj Kurl (51), Gurinder (35) and Meet Dahiya (19). —
