Volleyball trials from August 16
The Education Department will organise trials to shortlist eight players each for U-15 boys and girls categories for the World School Volleyball Championship. The trials will be conducted at the Sector 7 Sports Complex from August 16 to 18.
The International School Sports Federation will organise the championship at Shangluo, China, from December 4 to 13.
The School Games Federation of India (SGFI) will conduct the centralised selection trials to finalise the national team at Balewadi, Pune (Maharashtra), from August 25 to 30. Those who will clear the state trails will be eligible to appear for the national trials.
