Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will be on a three-day visit to Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh starting June 5.

During his visit, the Vice President will also interact with the students and faculty members of Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan, Himachal Pradesh.

Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan, was established on December 1, 1985, with the objective to promote education, research and extension education in the fields of horticulture, forestry and allied disciplines.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
