The government is making all out efforts to promote Punjabi film industry in the state.

Revenue Minister Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria today visited Picture Perfect Studio set up at Makaronpur village.

He along with Bassi Pathana MLA Gurpreet Singh GP and Jagbir Singh Brar inspected a studio built by Iqbal Singh Cheema.

Answering a query about corrupt practices in the Revenue Department, he said the government has initiated various steps to curb this menace. He said, “The government is going to fill all vacant posts in the Revenue Department and the appointments will be done on merit.”

MLA GP highlighted various problems being faced by residents in his constituency.

Cheema said stress has been laid to preserve art and culture of the state.
