On a two-day visit to the city, BJP Chandigarh in-charge Atul Garg met local traders, representatives of social organisations and members of the general public to discuss pressing civic issues, particularly the recent hike in house tax that has stirred concern among the city’s business community.

During his interactions, Garg lent a sympathetic ear to the grievances of traders and assured them that the issue would be addressed. “Chandigarh is a beautiful and well-organised city and the voices of its people cannot be ignored,” said Garg. “The issues raised by the traders are completely justified. As both a BJP representative and an elected MP, I assure everyone that this matter will be taken up with the administration.”
