Woman ends her life in Mohali

A 27-year-old married woman reportedly hanged herself to death at her house in Bhagwanpur village on the Dera Bassi-Bareala road this evening.

The victim, Nazibun Khatoon, a native of Motohari, Bihar, was staying alone in a rented accommodation. The police reached the spot on getting information about the incident and took the body in their possession.

The body was later shifted to the mortuary at the Dera Bassi subdivisional hospital.

The police said the kin of the deceased had been informed and further action would be taken after recording their statement.
