A 48-year-old woman died after falling off a bike at the Dera Bassi flyover on Monday.

Geeta Devi of Zirakpur was riding pillion with her younger son, Rohit, while returning from Ambala. Her family members said she was fasting on the first Navratra and fainted before falling off the bike. She sustained head injuries and was rushed to the nearby Dera Bassi subdivisional hospital, where the doctors declared her dead.
