A woman resident of Sector 16 here allegedly lost her gold chain to a bike-borne snatcher.

Alpana Mahajan, who does a private job in Chandigarh, stated that she was on foot in her sector when a biker came from behind and sped away after snatching the gold chain she was wearing.

She claimed that the chain had a diamond locket. A case has been registered. — TNS
