Manushtha Rao won the Silver Bowl (Gross) and Sushma Mishra finished second on the concluding day of the Punjab Ladies Golf Championship played at the Chandigarh Golf Club here.
In the Nett category, Ritu Kala clinched the S Gian Singh Kalsi Memorial Cup, followed by Aashna Monga at second position. The Bronze Division (Handicap 25–30) was won by Neelam Gag in Gross category, while Gulshan Rai bagged the Nett event.
In the senior categories, the Neelu Chopra Senior Challenge Trophy (60+) ended up in a tie between Poonam Kalra and Pauline Singh.
Pauline was named the winner on the basis of a better gross on Day 2. Neeru Singh continued her strong run by winning the Nett title, while Veera Singh finished runner-up.
The Pali Sukarchakia Memorial Trophy (70+) was lifted by Swatanter Ratia (Gross title) and Bunny Bath (Nett title).
In the Max Junior Shield (Under-18), Ojasvini Saraswat delivered a commanding performance to win the gross category, with Bhavya Mann finishing as runner-up.
The Sub-Junior Trophy (Under-13) was won by Aarushi Sharma, followed by Malhaar Singh and Mahira Sharma, who bagged second and third positions, respectively.
In the Gold Division (Spot Prizes), Amreen Sandhu won the Straightest Drive, while the Nearest to Pin event was won by Bhakti Manukhani. Jyoti Gosal won the Straightest Drive of the silver division, while Swatanter Ratia won the Nearest to Pin event.In the bronze division, Pritpal Gill and Janet Gasper won medals in the two events, respectively, whereas Sujata Kadyan was named Stableford winner, followed by Lakhi Swain at second position.
