Women's U-19, 23 teams announced

The Union Territory Cricket Association (UTCA), Chandigarh, has announced two teams for the upcoming tournaments scheduled in the first week of January. Gulnaz Grewal has been assigned the captaincy for the Women U-19 One-Day Tournament scheduled to be held in Surat.

The team will kick off its campaign against Assam on January 4, followed by Maharashtra on January 6. Chandigarh girls are scheduled to play their third match against Mizoram on January 8 followed by Vidarbha on January 10. Team’s last match will be against Karnataka on January 12.

Meanwhile, Aaradhna Bisht will be leading the side for Women's U-23 T20 Trophy commencing from January 5 in Jamshedpur. Chandigarh girls will lock horns against Tripura on January 5, followed by another North East team, Mizoram, on January 6. The team will face Tamil Nadu on January 8 and Delhi on January 10. The team's last match is against Baroda on January 12.
