Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO) here and the Women in Engineering Affinity Group of Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers are jointly organising a five-day summer school on “Deep Learning for Sensor Signal Analytics”, which began today.
In his inagural remarks, Dr Shekhar C Mande, Director-General, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, said artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning was the need of the hour and the CSIR laboratories were already using this for the development of related technologies.
The keynote lecture on “The Covid Sutra” was delivered by Prof Manindra Agarwal from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, while a talk on “Digital and AI – solving real life business use cases” was delivered by Harita Gupta, Country Head – India and Global Head Enterprise Business Services – Sutherland Global.
