Chandigarh, January 20
With an aim to integrate all services of the local municipal corporation with the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) and the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), a workshop-cum-brainstorming session was held today under Chandigarh Smart City Limited (CSCL).
“The workshop aimed at creating a collaborative platform for different departments to discuss and find solutions to day-to-day operational challenges where data can be mapped to the ICCC, which can lead to improved decision making and streamlining of processes to improve efficiency,” said Anindita Mitra, Chief Executive Officer, Chandigarh Smart City Limited, and MC Commissioner. A discussion was held between officials of a private company, the MC and the CSCL. Mitra said the discussion would improve both citizen-centric service delivery and efficiency of administrators.
The ICCC was established to enhance decision-making through data analysis. Various MC services like door-to-door garbage collection, eGovernance, fire safety, etc, have already been integrated with the ICCC and SCADA. Now, other departments of the MC like property tax, parking, etc, will be integrated with the ICCC and SCADA.
