Mohali's Yadavindra Public School lifts cricket, basketball titles
Hosts Yadavindra Public School (YPS), Mohali, won the 7th Amanjit Memorial Cricket Tournament and Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Basketball Tournament, which concluded today.
In the cricket final, the title winner recorded a nine-wicket win over YPS Patiala. Batting first, the Patiala team posted 63 in 14.5 overs. In reply, the Mohali team chased the target comfortably by scoring 65/1 in 8.3 overs. Aprajit Singh was named player of the tournament.
On the final day of the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Basketball Tournament, YPS Mohali emerged champions after a closely contested game against Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26. The side logged a 45-40 victory.
