Chandigarh, June 15
Chandigarh Youth Congress workers staged a protest against the “rising unemployment” during Covid at the PGI chowk here today.
They held degrees in their hands and protested the “failure of the Centre” to provide employment to citizens.
“The demonstration was symbolic of the anger and discontent brewing in the minds of the youth of India,” said youth leader Manoj Lubana.
“With the economy in a shambles because of the arrogance and ignorance of the high-headed Central Government, the youth have suffered the most. Youngsters with professional degrees and skills are without any opportunities to gain employment.”
