A Crime Branch team of Sector 26 Panchkula, led by Sub-Inspector Mandeep Singh, successfully arrested a person involved in the trafficking of banned narcotic drugs. The accused has been identified as Rajkumar of Uttar Pradesh, who is currently residing as a tenant in Jhuggi Dhakoli, Punjab.

The police received a tip-off through confidential sources that the accused was involved in selling narcotic pills and would be present near Apple Market in Sector 20, supplying drugs in his Eco Van. Acting on this information, the Crime Branch team, led by ASI Mukesh, formed a raiding party and apprehended the accused at the specified location.

Upon searching the vehicle, 2,600 Alprazolam tablets were found in a bag inside the vehicle. The accused was unable to present any valid license or documentation for the drugs during questioning. A case has been registered against the accused under Section 22(c) of the NDPS Act at Sector 20 Police Station.
