Youth ends life by jumping before train

A 24-year-old youth reportedly committed suicide by jumping before a train on the Ambala- Kalka track near Lalru here on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Karan.

He was a resident of Lalru and operating a grocery shop there.

Government Railway Police officials immediately reached the spot and took the body into their possession.

The decision behind taking the extreme step was yet to be ascertained, added Government Railway Police officials.

Meanwhile, an inquest proceeding has been initiated into the matte, said the police.
