The Mohali police reshuffled 24 cops within the district, changing Zirakpur, Sohana, Mullanpur, IT City and Airport Station House Officers (SHO) among others.

Inspector Amandeep Singh replaced Simran Singh at Sohana with the later moving to the Lalru police station. Lalru SHO Satinder Singh, meanwhile, has taken charge at the Zirakpur police station.

Similarly, Ajitesh Kaushal has been posted at the Airport police station, while Inspector Amandeep Tarika is the new Mullanpur SHO.

Inspector Navdeep Sharma and Inspector Gauravbans Singh took over at the Sadar Kurali and the City Kurali police stations, respectively. Inspector Amandeep Kaur, meanwhile, has moved from Cyber Crime police station to the position of the Women Cell SHO now.

Six police officers have also received a new posting at Anti-Narcotics Cell.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
