Zohaan claimed a gold medal in boys’ U-8 years event

with a throw of 12.46m during the State Javelin Throw Championship, organised by the Chandigarh Athletics

In the girls’ U-6 event, Dhruvika (5.79m), Rubaiyat (2.85m) and Rahat (2.69m) bagged medals, while in the boy’s category, Mankrite (7.03m), Jakshdeep (6.6m) and Angadveer (6.35) won laurels.

Ritik (25.35m) won the boys’ U-10 event, followed by Sahib Singh (20.21m) and Shauyra Veer (16.82m), while in the girls’ event, Aarna (10.97m), Manpreet (10.52m) and Amayra (9.20m) bagged medals. Aryan Attri (41.55m), Aksh Mor (34.55m) and Samardeep Singh (32.42m) bagged the top three positions in the boys’ U-14 event. In the girls’ U-12 event, Shrejal Goyat (24.35m), Hazel (16.32m) and Simran (14.34m) bagged lauerls, and in the boys’ category, Mudit Dhankar (29.04m), Prayanshu (26.01m) and Priyanshu Singh (23.48m) won medals.

In the girls’ U-14 event, Aaradhya Singh (35.8m), Hitanshi (30.70m) and Smriti Rana (28.46m) won the top honours, while in the U-16 event, Pratibha (36.72m), Riya (35.51m) and Priyanka (11.1m) emerged as winners. Akshita Rana (35.48m) won the girls’ U-18 event, followed by Ruchi (28.92m) and Anisha (18.56m). Pappu Kumar (46.23m) won the boys’ U-16 event, followed by Ayan Khan (45.5m) and Siddharth Turka (45.44m). Ruderansh Agnihotri (29.68) won U-18 gold medal and Mayank Chaudhary (48.96m), Daksh (46.5m) and Dhruv Parkash (41.6m) won top three positions in the boys’ U-20 event.
