Man held for raping 13-year-old daughter

A 13-year-old girl was raped and impregnated by her father. The victim’s mother filed a police complaint, following which the accused was arrested.

The victim’s mother stated that her daughter had been experiencing stomach pain for the past few days, and she had her checked from a doctor. The medical examination revealed that complainant’s daughter was pregnant. Upon questioning, the victim told her mother that around four months ago, her father, the accused, had taken her to his factory, where he had sex with her.

According to the victim’s mother, her father repeatedly assaulted her. The victim is four months pregnant. The police registered a case against the accused on the charge of rape and under the POCSO Act. The police said the case was being investigated thoroughly and the accused would be punished severely.
