Class X student raped in moving car in Faridabad
A student of Class X was reportedly raped twice after being pulled inside a car in Tigaon area of Faridabad.
According to the police, the 15-year-old girl was studying at a school in a neighbouring village. Her 10-year-old brother also studies in a private school there. Both of them left their village at 7.30 am on Saturday for school. She first dropped her brother and then was heading to her school when the incident took place.
According to her complaint, a man sitting in a parked car opened the door and pulled her inside. “Another man kept driving the car. The man raped me twice and threatened to kill me. They kept driving me around, and at the time of the closing of school, they threw me out of the car near my village and fled. I somehow reached home and narrated the entire incident to my family, who approached the police on Sunday,” the victim said.
An FIR has been registered under the POCSO Act and relevant sections of the BNS.
“Footage of the nearby CCTV cameras is being scanned to identify the accused. The crime branch team is also engaged in the investigation and the accused will be arrested soon,” said Inspector Rajbir, SHO.
