FOOLS rush in where angels fear to tread -- this is the epigram that the Ministry of External Affairs will challenge over the speed at which India is normalising ties with China despite Beijing's gross violations of agreements and protocols on keeping the LAC peaceful and tranquil. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has repeatedly questioned China's "inscrutable" behaviour in 2020 when it amassed troops on the border and attempted transgressions which were thwarted. In fact, the PLA occupied its proclaimed 1959 claim line, which Delhi has not admitted it did.
