401 crack Super-100 programme; Jind, Hisar students lead the way
The Directorate of Secondary Education, Haryana, has declared the results of the state’s flagship ‘Super-100’ programme for the 2025–27 batch, with 401 meritorious students from government schools making the cut.
Once limited to 100 students, the programme has now expanded its intake to over 400 to support more aspirants preparing for competitive exams like JEE Mains and NEET, an official said.
The admission process for the new batch will be conducted on May 25 at the Super-100 Campus in Barna, Kurukshetra, where all selected candidates must report with their parents.
Designed to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, the Super-100 programme offers free coaching, education, and residential facilities for students of Classes XI and XII.
Students from Hisar and Jind districts emerged as top performers, contributing 42 selections each to the total tally. Other notable numbers include: Bhiwani (34), Fatehabad (33), Sirsa (31), Kaithal (29), Gurugram (27) and Panipat (18).
"The Super-100 programme is a transformative step by the state government that bridges the gap between talent and opportunity. It ensures that talented students from government schools get the platform and guidance they deserve to compete at the national level," said Deepak Verma, District Science Specialist, Karnal.
He said the government has partnered with Vikalp Foundation Trust, which will handle coaching at its institute in Kurukshetra. All study material, food, boarding and other essentials will be provided free of cost.
The initiative aims at academic excellence, mentoring and holistic development to prepare students for highly competitive entrance exams.
District Education Officer Sudesh Thukral praised the programme, stating, “This programme reflects the government’s commitment to nurturing talent in government schools. We are proud of our students and confident that they will set a benchmark in competitive exams in the years to come.”
