10 succumb, record 1,942 cured in Mohali

Mohali: The district reported 10 deaths in the past 24 hours, taking the toll to 740. Meanwhile, 661 new cases surfaced and a record 1,942 patients were cured. Among the new cases, 220 were from Mohali (urban), 13 from Banur, 20 from Boothgarh, 21 from Lalru, 22 from Kurali, 49 from Gharuan, 82 from Dhakoli, 96 from Dera Bassi and 38 from Kharar. TNS

Two deaths, 418 new cases in Panchkula

Panchkula: Two more persons succumbed to Covid-19 during the past 24 hours, taking the district toll to 274. A 36-year-old man from Kalka and a 37-year-old man from Pinjore died due to the disease. Meanwhile, 418 persons tested positive for the virus, taking the tally to 27,071. TNS

Eight die, 650 test positive for virus in Chandigarh

Chandigarh: The city reported eight deaths and 650 new cases of Covid-19 on Friday. The active cases now stand at 8,158. As many as 925 patients recovered in the past 24 hours. TNS
