Relaxation to marketeers

In a late-night decision on Monday in a meeting held by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the state Home Department has allowed the operation of Autos, Uber and Ola taxis even in Red Zones, with strict regulation and preventive measures. They will ply for passengers only going to the airport, hospitals, railway station and bus stations from Tuesday. Public parks would also be opened from 7 am to 7 pm, with restrictions, and morning walkers cannot exceed a limit of 5 persons and have to keep a social distance.

Temples located inside the parks would not be opened and the public would not use either gym equipment installed in the parks. Pan Masala and tobacco shops, street vendors, and small eateries on hand-driven carts would be allowed but customers would not be allowed to carry the items home.

Flights cancellation

Twelve out of 20 flights slated to begin from Jaipur International Airport on Monday could not fly and were cancelled due to inter-state conflicts, an official said on Tuesday.

However, the airport authority has made elaborate foolproof arrangement for screening, disinfectant procedures, and luggage sanitisation for passengers’ arrival and departures, besides a medical form declaration by every traveller.
