One more person succumbed to Covid-19 during the past 24 hours taking the district toll to 389.



Mohali: One more person succumbed to Covid-19 during the past 24 hours taking the district toll to 389. Meanwhile, 87 fresh cases surfaced till Saturday evening while 23 patients recovered from the virus. Among the new cases, 57 cases came from Mohali (urban), one case each from Banur, Kurali and Lalru, five cases each from Dera Bassi and Gharuan, six from Kharar and 11 from Dhakoli. So far, the district has reported 20,768 cases and 19,452 patients have got better of the disease. There are 927 active cases. TNS


Panchkula tally goes past 11K

Panchkula: The district on Saturday reported 35 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the overall tally to 11,003. The toll remained 149. While 10,645 patients have recovered from the disease so far, 209 cases are active. The recovery rate stands at 96.74 per cent. — TNS
