Two fatalities, 55 fresh cases in Mohali district

Mohali, January 1

Two persons succumbed to Covid-19 in the district during the past 24 hours, taking the toll to 342. Besides, 55 more persons tested positive till Friday evening while 97 patients were cured of the disease.

Among the fresh cases, 43 were from Mohali (urban), one each from Banur, Gharuan and Kharar, three from Dera Bassi and six from Dhakoli.

So far, the district has reported 18,239 cases and 16,841 recoveries. There are 1,056 active cases.
