Philanthropist inaugurates phase 2 of Natak Mela

The National Theatre Arts Society (NTAS) entered second phase of their ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’ awareness theatre campaign held at Sarbat Da Bhalla Charitable Trust, here.

Trust Managing Trustee and philanthropist SP Singh Oberoi inaugurated the event.

He applauded the NTAS for always rising to the occasion and now spreading de-addiction awareness through their “Yudh Nashian Virudh” Natak Melas. Padma Shri Pran Sabharwal, the convener and director of the campaign, said the government’s launch of “Yudh Nashian Virudh” inspired him to do a bit for the noble cause as a moral duty.

Accordingly, they created a new Nukad Natak namely “Yudh Nashian Virudh” and presented it along with other de-addiction plays at 11 venues. NTAS president GS Kakkar, members and director Pran Sabharwal expressed gratitude to all associates of the shows and artistes, especially Patiala DC Preeti Yadav and SP Singh Oberoi for their support.
