1 dead, two hurt in stabbing incident

A man was killed and two others were injured in a stabbing incident at JJ Colony in Bawana, Outer North Delhi, on Friday night, the police said.

According to officials, the incident took place near Shochalya No. 3 in JJ Colony. Three persons sustained injuries in the attack. One of them, identified as Niyaz, was declared dead after being taken to Maharishi Valmiki Hospital. The other two injured persons, Tosin and Nihal, are undergoing treatment and have been referred to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital, the police said.

A case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) has been registered at the Narela Industrial Area police station.

Two persons, Toshif and Arru, have been arrested in this connection. The police said efforts were on to trace and arrest the remaining accused. Further investigation was on in this regard.
