The accused primarily engaged in cyber fraud by concealing their identities on social media. Their fraudulent activities included hotel bookings, sextortion, impersonating fake gold coin holders, and placing fake advertisements for Rapido taxi services.

They manipulated the general public into transferring money by creating false advertisements. Moreover, they exploited fake SIM cards and mobile devices to produce obscene videos, blackmailing victims with threats of making these videos viral, and carried out sextortion by directing funds into their fake bank accounts.
