A 15-year-old boy drowned in a waterlogged road near The British School in central Delhi’s Chanakyapuri following heavy rain on Friday.

The incident took place when the victim, Sourabh, who lived with his family at Vivekanand Camp in the vicinity, was playing in the rain with friends. He accidentally ventured into deep waters and drowned. His friends alerted his family members, who pulled him out and took him to a hospital, where he was declared dead.
