2 boys die in accidental fall from PG building in Delhi
Two students lost their lives in a tragic incident early Monday morning after accidentally falling from the fourth floor of a paying guest (PG) accommodation in the KNK Marg area, police officials said.
According to police officials, a PCR call was received at 1:10 am alerting them about two boys who had fallen from the roof. “Upon reaching the scene, we discovered that two students, who were in a room on the fourth floor of the PG, had fallen to the ground through the window,” a senior officer stated.
The deceased have been identified as Ishaan, a resident of Bharatpur, Rajasthan, and Harsh, a resident of Palam Colony, Delhi. Ishaan was a student at Delhi Technological University (DTU), while Harsh was enrolled at Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology (BPIT).
Preliminary investigations revealed that the fall was accidental. “A forensic team visited the spot, and their findings indicate no foul play. Eyewitnesses stated that both boys, who were friends, were engaged in a friendly scuffle in the room when the mishap occurred,” the poli officer added. “The postmortem has been conducted, and nothing suspicious has been found,” the officer said.
