2 killed, 1 hurt as van hits bike in Ghaziabad

Two persons were killed, while one was injured on Sunday after a pick-up van rammed into a motorcycle in the Vasundhara area of Ghaziabad.

The three motorcycle-borne men, who were identified as Irshad, Shaukat and Sehwan, had suffered severe injuries. However, Shaukat and Irshad succumbed to their injuries. Sehwan is undergoing treatment. “The police have seized the van and nabbed the driver, Saidul,” said Indirapuram ACP Swatantra Kumar Singh.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
