3 arrested for online frauds
Gurugram, February 2
The Nuh police have arrested three accused who were allegedly involved in online frauds. The police have also recovered six mobile phones and nine SIM cards from their possession. The arrested accused have been identified as Aadil of Jaiwant village, Arun of Nai village in Nuh district and Ajru of Bharatpur Pahadi in Rajasthan.
Inspector Vimal, in-charge of the Nuh cybercrime police station, got secret information that all three accused were roaming near the Nalhar bypass on the Nuh-Tauru road.
The accused would dupe people by sending fake messages about crediting money through text messages and prank apps using fake SIM cards. They would later ask victims to send money in their digital wallets.
