Three persons were arrested for allegedly stabbing a 22-year-old youth to death in Central Delhi's Nabi Karim area following a personal enmity and neighbourhood dispute, the police said on Monday.
The incident took place late on Sunday night in Tel Mil Gali. The victim, identified as Bansi, alias Pali, was attacked by a group of men, they said.
“The accused, identified as Rishi, Kake and others, assaulted Bansi with knives, inflicting serious injuries on his chest and neck. He succumbed to his injuries on the spot,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Nidhin Valsan said.
Till now, three persons, Parvesh, Pankaj, alias Kake and Ajay, all residents of the same locality, have been arrested.
A case under Section 103(1) (murder) has been registered at the Nabi Karim police station and further investigation has been launched.
The exact cause of the dispute is yet to be ascertained, the cop added.
