A 31-year-old woman was shot at by three people in southwest Delhi on Tuesday. Her husband Tara Chand alleged that three people opened fire at his wife, the police said. A case under Sections 307 (attempt to murder) and 34 (common intention) of the IPC and under the Arms Act has been registered and a probe was underway, the police said.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
