In a special gesture, a sacred water urn from Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib, Delhi, was placed at the venue, allowing delegates to pay their respects. The meeting was held at 'Bhagwan Birsa Munda Nagar' on Dehradun’s Parade Ground and was inaugurated by ABVP national president Rajsharan Shahi, national general secretary Virendra Singh Solanki and national organising secretary Ashish Chauhan. A total of 107 representatives from across the country participated.

Discussions at the meeting centred around several key national issues, including education, social transformation, natural disasters, divisive forces and infiltration. These themes would serve as the foundation for resolutions to be passed at ABVP’s 71st national conference, scheduled to take place from November 28 to 30.

The ABVP leadership also reviewed the organisation’s successes in student union elections and ongoing national campaigns. The meeting’s agenda included a preview of the National Executive Council meeting, which would be held on November 27 at the same venue. Two ongoing yatras — the 'Bhagwan Birsa Sandesh Yatra' and the 'Maharani Abbakka Kalash Yatra' — are expected to reach the site by then.

Speaking at the meeting, Prof Shahi said the significance of ABVP’s gathering, stating, “This Central Working Committee meeting is significant in many ways… Bharatiye values alone will pave the way for a developed Bharat.”
