Chain-snatching gangs have once again become active in Gurugram as four such cases have been reported in the last 48 hours. Although the police have registered cases in these incidents, not a single accused has been arrested yet.

The first incident was reported at the Sector 29 police station area, where Vikas Upveja lodged a complaint, stating that he was near Laser Valley Park on Sunday when motorcycle-borne miscreants snatched his gold chain and fled the spot.

In another incident, Sweety Gupta, a resident of Sector 48, filed a complaint, stating that two motorcycle-borne miscreants snatched her gold chain near Olive Apartment and fled the spot. Vidhya Singh, a resident of the Sector 57, also filed a complaint, sharing similar experience. A police official said four separate cases of snatching had been registered at different police stations and an investigation was underway.
