Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu today administered oath to five newly elected members of the House from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Odisha.

Those who took oath are YSRCP members Niranjan Reddy Sirgapoor and Ryaga Krishnaiah from Andhra Pradesh, TRS members Damodar Rao Divakonda and B Parthasaradhi Reddy from Telangana and BJD’s Niranjan Bishi from Odisha.

While Krishnaiah, Divakonda and Reddy took oath in Telugu, Sirgapoor did so in English. Bishi was elected to the Rajya Sabha to fill the casual vacancy caused due to resignation of Subhash Chandra Singh. He took oath in Oriya.
