5-yr-old boy found murdered in Delhi’s Narela; driver on the run

In a shocking incident in outer Delhi’s Narela area, the body of a five-year-old boy was found on Tuesday afternoon inside the room of his father’s driver.

The accused, identified as Nitu, is absconding, and multiple police teams have been deployed to trace him.

According to police, a kidnapping call was first received around 3:30 pm at the Narela Industrial area police station and was later transferred to Narela police station.

During investigation, it emerged that the child, had been playing outside his house when he suddenly went missing.

The complainant, told police that his driver Nitu lived in a nearby rented room. The child’s body was later recovered from there. Police said the child had been attacked with bricks and a knife.

The complainant further told police that he owns small commercial vehicles and that on Monday evening, his two drivers, Nitu and Wasim had an altercation while drunk.

When Wasim complained about the fight, the complainant reprimanded and slapped Nitu a few times. Enraged by this, Nitu allegedly lured the child to his room and killed him.

The victim was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Police have registered a case of murder and launched a manhunt for the accused.
